| Every summer the shower drain and sink drain in one bathroom reek of mildew. A chlorine bleach splash before bed keeps it in check, but any idea why this is happening? |

If you look down the drain, is there water you can see? There should be standing water in the trap.
Do you use this bathroom regularly? |
| Yes, there's water in both sink and shower traps and yes, we use the shower and sink daily. That's also the bathroom was the bashful flushing toilet. Send me a winning lottery ticket and I'll tear the whole room out and redo. |
I don't know what to tell you... I would need to confer with some of the guys I work with on this one...
If you get a chance, you could ask a plumber if he /she ever heard of this too! |
