How do I paint a straight line?

This topic is available here on The Repair-Place forum I need to paint a stripe on the wall. What is the best way to do this? 3M Blue painters tape. It comes in a variety of widths as well as different stickiness’, depending what you are sticking it to. There are imitation ‘blue’ painters tape products out there but I found the 3M Blue Painters Tape to work the best. It comes off clean and easy with no residue.
