Help!!! I have a sliding screen door in a size and color difficult (if not impossible to replace) but I can't seem to get the rollers off to replace them. They are plastic and cracked/broken and as a result the door keeps falling off the track. Any tips on removing the rollers so I can put new ones in, without damaging the frame itself? |

Kind of hard without looking. But....
Sometimes there is a height adjusting screw on the top where the screen is. or there might be a screw on the side that holds the wheel assembly in. If you loosen it all the way the wheel assembly should fall out.
You could also take the whole screen down to your local hardware store or glass place. Call them first to see if they repair screens. They might even have the parts or at least access to get the parts you need too!
By the way... Welcom to the forum!! |
