Which disposer is better, batch feed or a switch on wall

This topic is available here on The Repair-Place forum
I am adding a new garbage disposer to my kitchen sink and was wondering which one I should get, the batch feed type or the switch on the wall? I need to decide before the sheetrock goes up in that area.

What are some different disposers you might reccommend?
I would recommend the In-Sink-Erator brand. It is the most widely used and recognized brand and it has been around for a very long time. There are different models though depending on budget and room under the sink. The switch on the wall type is the most common and is less expensive than batch feed. If you have small (or any for that matter) children then batch feed is MUCH safer. The disposer can't be started with out the drain cover on. The disadvantage to batch feed is you have to stop and re load the food if you have a lot to dispose of.
