This topic is available here on The Repair-Place forum | I installed peel and stick tiles in my bathroom last summer. Then I noticed gaps between the tiles and since I didn't like the tiles after they were laid I removed them. Now ready to install new tiles, how can I make sure I don't have the gap problem again. Do peel and stick tiles shrink and expand depending on the weather? Is it possible they are full of moisture from storage in the warehouse? Will drying them out with a heater help to shrink them prior to installation? Hope you can provide advice on this. |
| The tiles MUST be acclimated to the house temp and humidity. The flooring should be left in the area where it will be used for a few DAYS before it is installed.
This goes for wood, sheet vinyl, Pergo or tile too. | |
