I have separate hot & cold tub stems. The hot was leaking, so when I went to tighten the bonnet, it broke off flush with the pipe coming out of the wall. How can I get the threaded part out of the pipe? Any tool to help back it out, and what does this normally cost to get a plumber to do it for me?

| Wow, you must be very strong! I hope you didn't get scalded!
If there is something to grab onto from the inside, perhaps an "easy out tool" or "easyout tool" would do the trick for you.
It looks like a drill bit with the inclined plane (the screw part) going the wrong direction.
