Re: Problem Installing a New Bosch Dishwasher

This topic is available here on The Repair-Place forum
I just installed my new Bosch Dishwasher but instead of using the clamp for the drain hose I used a coupling thinking it would fit tighter. Unfortunately I overtighted the clamp and put a crease in the dishwasher drain tube opening. I tried to fix the problem with some teflon tape and putting the original clamp back on but still a tiny leak. Is there a way to fix it or do I have to actually replace the drain hose on the dishwasher?
I'm not 100% positive which part(s) you're talking about.

Can you be a little more specific and descriptive of the hose and which ends and so forth, and which goes over which.

Also, what do you mean by "crease"? Is it a cut at all, or just a bend?

Without the above info, I'm just guessing, but an inside coupler might do the trick, might not, depends on what part is going over what part, and whether the inside coupler restricts flow too much.

Let me know!
