Is it worth it to spend lots of money to have your Seiko repaired? I don’t know.  Mine is still in the desk drawer. If you go ahead, Seiko repair service should include: Complete disassembly, cleaning and overhauling, and reassembly and lubrication of movement. Have that crystal polished or replaced. Timing and adjustment of movement to perfect manufacturing standards. Replacement of all gaskets. Water resistance test. Complete refurbishing of case, bracelet, and bezel. Demand a minimum of a one year warranty on all repair services. Maybe demand two years-- after all, this repair will likely cost as much as a new watch.
